Heather Dennis

Heather Dennis is the Vice President of Development at CMMB, where she leads the organization’s communications, fundraising, and marketing initiatives. She joined CMMB during its 110th anniversary year and brings more than three decades of strategic marketing and fundraising experience to the role.

Prior to joining CMMB, Heather served as Senior Vice President of Philanthropy and President at the Guideposts Foundation. She also held senior leadership positions in development at Consumer Reports and Keep America Beautiful, where she established the organization’s first endowment fund. Earlier in her career, she worked in fundraising with the American Red Cross in Greenwich, Connecticut, the New York State Historical Association, Iona College, and Hartwick College.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York. She lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, with her family and their two German Shepherd rescue dogs.

Heather has been a member of the Access to Health Zambia’s Board since 2024 and is a member of the Programme Committee.
