As an organisation, we believe no life should be lost due to preventable illness. Tragically, in Zambia, malaria, diarrhea, and pneumonia continue to cause high rates of maternal and neonatal deaths. This is a situation we are fighting to change.
Access to Health Zambia (A2HealthZ), formerly known as Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia (CMMB-Z), is a local, non-governmental organisation (NGO) focused on improving the lives of women, mothers, adolescents, and children in Zambia.
We deploy context‐responsive health interventions, while catalysing community ownership. The result is sustained impact and resilience against extreme poverty and disease.
Children are the future of every society. Healthy, educated, and empowered women are better able to raise healthy, educated, and confident sons and daughters. Sadly, women and children remain among the world’s most vulnerable populations.
